Overview
The Model JVW-110 Outdoor Voltage Transformer is engineered for outdoor service in utility, industrial, and commercial electrical distribution installations, targeting metering, protective relaying, and control power. Model JVW-110 is designed for outdoor service and suitable for operating meters, instruments, relays, and control devices. JVW-110 is rated Distribution Class with lighter burden and thermal rating for more efficient application to solid-state metering and other modern relay and control power installations. This model is available in a variety of voltage, ratio and bushing types as outlined in the unit selection table below
Constructed with precision-wound cores and robust insulation, the JVW-110 maintains rated accuracy through repeated thermal cycling, mechanical vibration, and environmental exposure typical of outdoor installations. Key ratings: 110 kV, 110 kV BIL, 000 VA. Design conforms to IEEE C57.13 (where applicable) for instrument-transformer accuracy and dielectric testing.
Typical deployments include substation switchgear, generator and transformer protection, revenue metering, feeder and motor protection, and control-room instrumentation.
