Overview
Every unit is oil-filled, with a 65°C rise, and built for typical service conditions in accordance with IEEE C57.12.00, ensuring consistent thermal performance and long-term reliability in standard operating environments. This level of compliance with standards makes the transformer a straightforward fit for utility specifications, municipal projects, and commercial or industrial installations where documented performance is a procurement requirement.
Ratings flexibility is a defining feature of this transformer line. Available from 30 through 3000 kVA, with custom designs offered outside that range, the transformer accommodates everything from small commercial services to large industrial and campus-scale loads. Primary voltages span 2.4 through 35 kV with a 150 kV BIL rating (custom BIL available), while secondary voltages go up to 600 volts, or can be custom-engineered to match specific system requirements. This wide ratings window allows a single product platform to serve a broad range of distribution voltage classes without forcing customers into a one-size-fits-all specification.
Configuration options extend well beyond voltage and kVA rating. All standard tap configurations are available, including dual-voltage in most combinations and dual-voltage with taps only using a series connection. Impedance and loss options can also be specified in most designs, allowing engineers to fine-tune transformer performance to meet efficiency targets, fault-current coordination, or system-specific loss evaluation criteria. Together, these options make the three-phase pad-mounted transformer a flexible, standards-compliant solution for distribution system design, expansion, and replacement projects.
